The two-story restaurant “The House of Great Wonder” in Kyiv offers the cozy atmosphere of an urban café with European cuisine. Its interior evokes a sense of home comfort, emphasizing warm details and refined architectural elements. The authentic features of post-war Kyiv architecture, such as exposed brickwork, add a special charm, blending harmoniously into the modern style.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The restaurant’s interior combines contemporary and retro elements, reminiscent of old Kyiv cafés. Seating along the walls is designed as soft benches with comfortable mattresses. The furniture is crafted from natural materials: wooden chairs and armchairs, and velvet-upholstered sofas that add a unique charm and coziness to the space.
Every piece of furniture, produced by the Yavorina Furniture Factory, was created according to custom design drawings, ensuring a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics. Every detail—from fabric textures to wooden finishes—contributes to the unique style that underscores the restaurant’s concept.
